How to Sew a Wrist Pincushion

Follow these steps to sew your own wrist pincushion:

  • Download and print the free PDF pattern . Alternatively, you can cut two circles from the fabric with a diameter of about 10 cm. You can use a cup or glass to draw the circle.
  • Cut one rectangle from the fabric with the length of twice your wrist measurement and the width of about 5 cm. This will be the wrist strap.

  • Fold the wrist strap in half with the right sides together and sew along the long edge. Turn the strap right side out and press it flat.

  • Fold the raw edges (1 cm) inwards and pin them in place. Leave a gap of 2 cm in the middle of the strap. This is where you’ll insert the elastic band later.
