A basic bodice, also known as a bodice block or sloper, is a foundational pattern used in garment construction. It serves as the starting point for creating a wide range of fitted tops, blouses, dresses, and other upper body garments. The basic bodice is drafted to fit the individual measurements of the wearer, ensuring a custom fit.
