Step 1: Download and Prepare the Pattern

Sewing Waist Darts

• Pin and sew darts on the left side of the fabric as indicated in your pattern.

Create the Tulip Hem

• Fold and Press the Hem: Follow the pattern instructions to fold and press the hem. Sew a narrow hem along the curved edges for a clean finish.

Sewing the Waistband

• Fold the skirt and waistband in half, then attach the waistband to the waist of the skirt.

• With right sides together, pin the skirt ties together and sew with a straight stitch. Turn the ties right side out.
