Seam Allowance

I suggest including an additional 1 cm | 0.4 in of seam allowance to the pattern pieces for this project. This extra allowance will allow you to sew the seams comfortably without affecting the fit of the garment.

You can measure and mark the seam allowance on your fabric using a ruler or tape measure. Another option is to use a seam gauge, a handy sewing tool with markings for various seam allowances.

Adding seam allowance may seem like a small detail, but it is crucial for achieving the correct size and shape of your finished skirt.
